Volunteer & Social Impact
General Manager of the Giftback Foundation (2024 – Present)
Story: I’ve witnessed the horrible conditions those in the more unfortunate backgrounds have to live with, it’s truly heartbreaking for me to just pass away them like that. Together with my friends who share the same experiences, we aim to just at least spread awareness to as many people as possible about these unfortunate lives, that life is never full of flowers, and that it is a great privilege for us to be here, in this school. We believe that with this privilege, we should gift back to the community that we hold so dear, thereby the name “Giftback Foundation”. I want to address the harsh conditions of many people in Thu Duc city and Vietnam in general. Therefore, with my friends, we’ve created this charity foundation, focusing on raising awareness and motivating others to join my cause.

Art & Creativity
Position: An actor in my school's musical production (2024 - 2025)
Story: This was my first being involed in a school musical production where I was playing the character "William Morris Barfee" in the show: "25th Putnam County Spelling Bee". I and the other cast members with my main director went through a staggering 6 months of preparing and rehearsing, focusing memorizing the characters’ lines as well as the vocal and choreography. It was a lot to take in for me, especially in the current IB schedule with deadlines coming up. But somehow, I enjoyed this process a lot. I felt safe expressing my own feeling through the characters with no shame. The casts were such a supportive community that had actually made me felt belonged. We enjoyed messing up our lines together, singing completely off-tone, making dumb mistakes and eating pizzas together. The more I worked with the cast, the more I felt in love by their charisma and positive altitude. It was such an honor and privillege to work with them.
Key achievement: I got to expose myself to a big audience, testing my public confidence and performing skill. Yet the best part is that I got toknow a lot people that are older or younger than me who I quickly developed a friendship with. After the show. we received a certificate and featured in some of the school's media posts.
Sport
Position: 3rd place age group placer in a triathlon
Story: I have an aspiration for finishing an IRONMAN race, a brutal one-day triathlon event with a course of 3.8km swim in the cold sea, 180km bike in the wind and heat and a marathon in tears. It is the ultimate test for my strength both physically and mentally, a test that less than 0.01% of the world has ever completed. It is hard, no wonder, yet for me, such challenge excites me. I have been training for a triathlon for a while now, I came to the Vietnam Trifactor Champition prepared. The distance that I raced was 2250m swim, 80km bike and 20 km run, half of an IRONMAN, but still a huge milestone for me to conquer as a part of my journey in becoming an IRONMAN
Results: I completed the course in 5:37:27, placing me in 3rd place in under 30 age group and 24th overall as a 16 years old.
